As technical advantages develop faster and faster it leads to the question of how the medium of classical paintings changes nowadays. Nina Rike Springer and Daniel Sigloch both produce extraordinary art pieces using modern technologies for creating their kind of IT paintings.
The photo and video artworks Springer creates emerge at the interface of performance, photography, and animated pictures and feature all kinds of human feelings and technical pressures by our thoroughly organized society.
Siglochs digital paintings and drawings are based on photographs composed of the principle of glaze painting. He creates multi-layered motifs by uniting numerous photographs with each other, one above the other.
