Casanova Sorolla’s multimedia works are shaped by transformative processes.

Two-dimensional works of art usually refer to previously performed and specially staged performances, which in turn find their source in traditional but individually interpreted notations or transferred traditions between vernacular expressions and high culture.

Transversal in every way, literally as well as politically figurative; In Casanova Sorolla’s work, complex socio-cultural realities are expressed through traditional cultural assets from folklore to classical music. It is a large number of interpretations of meaning and the multilingualism of their speakers/interpreters that prove their complexity. Arts that appear ephemeral, such as music and dance, make traces of their complex relationships and the contingencies of concrete singularities in diagrammatic annotations.
